A Talk on the Union-Budget, 2008 was jointly organized with five CPE Study Circles namely, Indraprastha CPE Study Circle, East Delhi CPE Study Circle, East End CPE Study Circle, Mayur Vihar CPE Study Circle and Vikas Marg CPE Study Circle of NIRC of the ICAI on March 6.

CA. Shashi Gupta, Convener, Indraprastha CPE Study Circle, welcomed the dignitaries, guest speaker and the members. He also appreciated the support of NIRC in organizing the programme a grand success. The Programme was inaugurated by CA. Girish Ahuja, FCA and the guest speaker.

CA. Girish Ahuja, FCA was the main speaker who took up and lead the deliberations of the Budget Talk. He took upon the various provisions relating to Indirect Taxes in the Finance Bill, 2008, introduced by the Finance Minister. The programme was largely attended by the members.

CA. Sudhir K. Agarwal, Chairman, NIRC of the ICAI, CA. Durga Das Agrawal, Vice-Chairman, CA. Atul Kumar Gupta, Treasurer, NIRC of the ICAI, CA. Mohan Mittal, Executive Member, NIRC of the ICAI and CA. Deen Dayal Agrawal, Executive Member, NIRC of the ICAI also graced the occasion.
